We are super excited to finally bring you a feature that we know many of you have been waiting for: Card Import. This allows you to import both decklists and csv files directly into your collection. We’re also improving many aspects of our process to keep bringing you the new best TCG platform. Keep reading for all the details!

You can now upload csv files directly to your collection by navigating to the “Add cards” section of the platform. This feature supports files from platforms like Moxfield, Archidekt, Deckstats and more. If your file isn’t from one of those sources, you can use our handy CSV Template to check what the formating should look like. We made a short video demo to show you how easy it is to add over 1.000 cards in less than 5 minutes.
You can also upload decklists directly to your collection from the “Add cards” section of the platform. There are many decklist formats out there but we support the most common formats used by MTG Goldfish, Moxfield and MTG Arena. Just paste the list into the upload window and add the cards in a matter of seconds! We made an extra video demo to show you how flexible this import option really is.
TCG Home Alpha Testing
All of this wouldn’t be possible without our amazingly dedicated Alpha Testers. This group of 40-50 volunteers delivered some incredibly detailed testing results in no time and gave us really smart suggestions for improvements that have already been implemented in the import version you get to use now.
We created the Alpha Tester group as an experiment for the import feature but it was such a smashing success that going forward, Alpha Testing will remain a constant part of our development process. Combined with the feedback we already get from the Volunteer Beta Tester group, we’re convinced that this way we can bring you an even better product than ever before.
Behind the Scenes
We know that while card import is a step on our journey that many of you have been waiting for, others are still holding out until we add the seamless Cardmarket integration or expand into other games like Pokémon, Lorcana or Yu-Gi-Oh! which is why we want to address these topics directly.
We can assure you that behind the scenes we are making good progress on both fronts. We are hoping to get our prototype of the Cardmarket integration greenlit by our partners very soon. When that happens, the Cardmarket connection will go into Alpha Testing to hopefully come to the Beta within a matter of weeks.
While expansion into more games will take a bit longer than that, we are already doing our best to get the ideal setup for that. We’re hard at work to acquire reliable data sources for our own card database as well as building expertise for the specific needs of those games that must be reflected on our platform.
As always we are going to keep you in the loop on our progress with these topics, just as we’ll keep all of you updated on our development progress. Thank you for sticking with us on the exhilarating journey that is this Open Beta phase! We hope you’re having fun managing your collection better than ever before.
