Our newest update to TCG Home brings you two new features that have been heavily requested: DarkMode and tracking of purchase prices for the cards in your collection. We’ve also released the next set of improvements to our Add Cards process. Here is everything you need to know…
Tracking Card Purchase Prices
You may have wondered why you can add a purchase price to a card when you add it. Now we have answers for that as the first implementation of purchase price tracking is now live on the TCG Home Beta.
However, this is only the foundation for several other features we have planned for the future. Individual price alerts, sell/hold suggestions and many other trading tools, some of which have already been requested by the community, all rely on this baseline. There is much to look forward to!
The Dark Side is Strong with us!
One of the most requested changes since the beginning of our beta testing has been a switch to DarkMode. We’re happy to announce that with our newest release, we’ve made that switch! We really like our new, darker look, but we’re interested in what you think. Let us know if you enjoy DarkMode as much as our team members do!
Of course, we will eventually offer the choice of which design you want to use, but at least at this stage of the beta, we will develop only one of the designs - currently DarkMode - as we want to make sure we have enough development resources available for our essential collection management features.
Sorting search results
Our Add Cards process has received one of the most valuable improvements, which is sorting options for your search results. Right now you can sort by card name or by release date, which should make it even easier to find the cards you’re looking for and also make the process of growing your collection even more comfortable. Naturally, if we find out that more sorting options are needed, we will be able to add them in a future update, but for now we feel that name and release date are the most important ones.
If you haven't signed up to TCG Home yet, but you want to try out these new improvements, now is the best time to create an account! Set your username and email address, confirm your email, and you're ready for next-generation collection management.
